Make a Joyful Noise!
The St. Mark UMC music ministry is determined "to make a joyful noise unto the Lord and serve Him with gladness as they come before His presence with singing" as expressed in Psalms 100. The ministry consists of an aggregation of believers who collectively use their gifts to glorify God and assist in establishing an atmosphere of praise being rendered unto God during all our worship experiences. Currently there are four choirs serving in the ministry at St. Mark along with a Praise Team and dance troupe known as "God's Glory." As we continue to grow as a church without walls and expanding in outreach to our community, our choirs are often called on to share their ministry at many different civic activities and other venues or community sponsored events.
Every Sunday morning music fills the air at St. Mark as the choirs and congregation join together to sing heartfelt and vibrant praises unto God. A true sense of celebration is shared by all because of our blended style of worship that utilizes all genres of music ranging from the great hymns, anthems and spiritual songs along with the old-time gospel favorites and also new more contemporary songs as well. The overall worship experience is further enhanced as our dancers interpret and glorify God with their own unique style of musical expressions.
