15th Anniversary of the Seven Last Words featuring the 7 Sisters of the Spirit
Get ready for a Good Friday worship experience like none other. On April 3, 2026 at 7 PM as St. Mark UMC–Hanover hosted the 15th Anniversary of The Seven Last Words featuring 7 Sisters of the Spirit—a sacred moment years in the making. For the first time, all 7 active African-American female bishops of the United Methodist Church gathered from across the nation to proclaim the story of Calvary in one place. This was more than a service; it’s history, legacy, and holy fire converging in our sanctuary.
Hear words of anticipation and excitement from the United Methodist Church Bishops during the Lenten Season prior to the event.
