Fresh Start

When a New Year comes in we often feel the need to make some changes.   We may even wonder if it is even possible to have an opportunity to leave the old behind and to obtain a fresh start.  Well, you can stop wondering and doubting because we serve a mighty God who specializes in “fresh starts”.  The Lord tells us in Isaiah 43:18-19 “(18) Do not remember the former things, nor consider the things of old.  (19) Behold, I will do a new thing, Now it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert”.  Now, we have something to look forward to whether the fresh start is accepting Jesus as our Lord and Savior or feeling stuck in our current situation.  A fresh start is possible and available to us in Jesus name through the power of the Holy Spirit our comforter and guide.  Read Lamentations 3:22-23 as an additional reference.
