Salvation/Prayer

“For there is no distinction,  since all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God;  they are now justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, whom God put forward as a sacrifice of atonement by his blood, effective through faith.” Romans 3:23-25 NRSV

“For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not perish but may have eternal life.”  John 3:16 NRSV

“If you confess with your lips that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For one believes with the heart and so is justified, and one confesses with the mouth and so is saved.” Romans 10:9-10 NRSV

When you are ready, you can make the decision to follow Jesus. With sincerity, you must admit that you are sinner and repent of your sins, and then invite Jesus to come into your life as your personal Savior.  If you need help with your decision, we are here to help.

Once you invited Jesus into your heart, you should read your Bible daily for God’s word is “a lamp to my feet and a light to my path” Psalm 119:105. You may also want to begin reading daily devotionals such as Our Daily Bread or the Upper Room. You should also look for a Bible Study to help you grow in your understanding. We invite you to join in one or more of the groups at St. Mark. All are welcome.
